ABOUT OUR WHITETAIL DEER HUNTS

Whitetail deer hunting along the Pembina River in Alberta is exceptional, thanks to the area’s rich habitat and natural movement corridors.

Our lodge sits right along the Pembina River, where rolling farmland meets thick timber, brushy draws, and natural travel corridors that deer use daily. This mix of cover and feed creates excellent opportunities for trophy-class whitetails, with proven success year after year.

The winding river, dense cover, and mature aspen create ideal conditions for holding and growing mature bucks. Whitetails travel between bedding areas and feeding zones, making this region well suited for spot-and-stalk hunts.

whitetail deer hunting in alberta canada

Our whitetail deer hunts deliver everything Alberta is known for: big-bodied bucks and consistent success

During the rut, bucks cruise the river edges and timbered draws, using the thick cover to stay concealed while searching for does. Early mornings and evenings are especially productive as deer move naturally along well-worn trails that follow the Pembina’s twists and turns.

With low-pressure country, diverse terrain, and strong genetics, whitetail hunting in our area offers classic Alberta deer hunts and the real opportunity to pursue heavy-bodied, mature bucks.

In addition to whitetail tags, we also offer a limited number of mule deer tags, giving hunters a rare chance at harvesting an amazing Alberta mulie. These are rewarding hunts built on patience, good ground, and experience, the kind that create lasting memories and keep hunters coming back season after season

Real results, real success, and happy hunters.

We have been hunting this area for many years and we are excited to now have the new Pembina River Lodge to call home during our whitetail deer hunts.  2025 was our first year hunting from our new Lodge and it has proven to be a perfect setup for successful hunts and a great time for all of our hunters.
