The place is beautiful. It has all the charm of an old log cabin with all the modern amenities you would want. Very nice kitchen, the coziest couch I've ever sat on, and not 1 but 3 bathrooms, with one of the nicest bath and showers I've used. The decor is cool, theres mounted deer and moose heads all over the main living space. The host is quick to respond and very friendly. I'm happy to have spent my holidays here, it was the perfect escape from day to day life, so quiet and relaxing. The price for what you get is incredible compared to anything else I was looking at it the area.

I have been hunting with Neil for over 25 years and will tell and have told several he is by far the best outfitter in the business and i have been hunting with several over the years.This year i had the pleasure of hunting with him in Barrhead at his new lodge (Northern Lights Outfitting) Let me tell you the lodge is a beautiful Two story log cabin and the hunting was off the charts.There was five us in our group and we all had a great time and harvested amazing deer. I have also hunted with Neil in Marwayne (Northstar Outfitting) multiple times and the accommodations there are outstanding and the hunting is great. I would recommend either place for an outstanding Hunt and great accommodations. Oh yeah, and the food is off the charts
